IPS Y12 Awards - Congratulations to our 2025 Y12 graduates

Family and friends gathered at Ithaca House on Sunday 19 April to celebrate our young Ithacan 2025 year 12 graduates, all of whom achieved outstanding results. It was inspiring to hear the achievements, interests and ambitions of each of the recipients, all of whom also spoke of their love and connection with Ithaki.

Guest speaker, young Ithacan and Co-President of the Melbourne University Greek Association (MunGA), Christina Demagos, spoke of the benefits for young people through participation in MunGA which promotes Hellenic culture and organises activities for Hellenes and Philhellenes. Christina reflected on her personal experience when she commenced university, not knowing anyone. Through her involvement with MunGA she has forged new friendships and connections as well as developing her leadership skills. Christina encouraged our Year 12 graduates to engage with MunGA which is open to all, irrespective of whether or not they are studying at Melbourne University.

We extend our warm congratulations and best wishes for the future to our award recipients.
