The annual Children's Christmas Party was a huge success. Even Melbourne's traffic chaos and inclement weather couldn't dampen the spirits of our young Ithacan families.
Children were entertained by long time favourite Moodles the Clown and a truly amazing performance by magician Alex Unexplainable who not only had the kids enthralled but also the mums and dads, and grandparents. Considered one of Australia’s top sleight-of-hand magicians, Alex was a grand finalist on Australia’s Got Talent, and is one of only a small number of Australian performers to have been invited to perform on America’s Got Talent. He has represented Australia on German television in a competition to find the world’s best variety act.
The arrival of Santa was, as always, higly anticipated and he was greeted with great enthusiasm.
For our 12 year olds it was their last Christmas Party and in recognition of this milestone were also presented with an IPS cap.
