PUBLICATION OF THE ITHACAN PHILANTHROPIC SOCIETY 'The Ulysses'
Efstathios Raftopoulos commenced publishing the Odysseus Newspaper in 1973 with the aim of keeping Ithacans, both at home and abroad, abreast of Ithacan news. Today, an editorial committee edits and produces the newspaper, supported by contributions from members and interstate and overseas correspondents.
A bi-lingual publication, the Odysseus is a valuable source of news and information for our members and serves as a historical record covering a range of social, historical and cultural topics. Approximately 800 copies are distributed throughout Australia, and around the world, enabling fellow Ithacans to keep in touch with each other and their beloved island.
