BIRTH
Sierra Rose Critelli was born on 28th December 2007, to proud parents Paul and Barbara Critelli, weighing exactly 3.19kg / 7lb. Sierra is the grand-daughter of Dennis & Effie Katsamas, Silvio & Katina Critelli, and the great grand-daughter of Loulouka Raftopoulos. We feel blessed to have sweet Sierra in our lives and look forward to many happy times together.
ENGAGEMENT
The engagement of Nekatarios Kandiliotis and Angie Lialkovska was announced at a small family dinner. The happy couple, who are pictured above, are planning their wedding for later on in the year. Nektarios is the son of Theodori and Anthoula Kandiliotis. Best wishes on your engagement.
WEDDINGS
On Saturday 3 November 2007, Nick Vasilopoulos and Rebecca Fuoco were married in a romantic ceremony in the idyllic setting of the Como Gardens. After the ceremony, a reception was held at the One Fitzroy Street Restaurant, St. Kilda. The happy couple honeymooned in Hawaii. Nick is the son of Vasili Vasilopoulos and Soula (Florias) Vasilopoulos. Congratulations and best wishes for a happy furture. On Sunday 4 November 2007, Sam Vasilopoulos and Elizabeth Bouras were married at St. Eustathios Greek Orthodox Church, South Melbourne. Sam’s brother Deakin Evmenios assisted in the ceremony. Sam and Elizabeth were attended by their god son Nickolas and beautiful daughter Tia. Close family and friends celebrated the happy occasion with a magnificent cruise along the Yarra. The happy couple honeymooned in the Maldives. Sam is the son of John and Vicki Vasilopoulos and Elizabeth is the daughter of George and Andriana Bouras (Mavromati). Congratulations and best wishes to the happy couple.
70th BIRTHDAY
Last month, Toula Agrotis celebrated her 70th birthday with a family dinner at the Templestowe Hotel. Toula is pictured at top with her children (from left) Matthew, Elly Symons and Michael, and below with her extended family. Toula is the daughter of Maria and John Raftopoulos (Tsoli). Congratulations Toula on attaining another milestone!

Αφίχθη στη Μελβούρνη από το Σίδνευ, η Λουλούκα Ραυτοπούλου, μαζί με την κόρη της και τον γαμβρό της Βίκη και Πήτερ Ποντίφιξ, προς επίσκεψη της κόρης της και γαμβρού της Έφης και Διονύση Κατσαμά στο καινούργιο τους σπίτι και ιδιαίτερα για να δεί την νεογέννητη δισεγγονή της, Sierra-Rose Critelli κόρη της εγγονής της Βαρβάρας και Πωλ Κριτέλλι. Η Έφη διοργάνωσε απογευματινό τσάι για να συναντήσει η μητέρα της συγγενείς και φίλους. Ήταν ένα ευχάριστο απόγευμα γεμάτο αναμνήσεις.

Από την Ιθάκη ήλθε ο Λουκάς Αναγνωστάτος, γιός των Ανδρέα και Νίκης ιδιοκτητών του Hotel Nostos στις Φρίκες, επισκεπτόμενος πολλούς συγγενείς και φίλους. Ο Λουκάς φιλοξενήθηκε από τα εξαδέλφια της μητέρας του, Γιώργο και Κρυσταλένια Καλλινίκου. Η παραμονή του στη Μελβούρνη ήταν πολύ ευχάριστη και εντυπωσιάστηκε από την πόλη μας.
On the 30 November 2007, Telemachos Soupionas arrived in Melbourne from South Africa for an emotional reunion with his siblings: Yianni, Gerasimoula and Alecko. Later, he was joined by his wife Eleni. Unfortunately, he did not make it in time to see his sister Theoni, who he had not seen for 45 years. Nevertheless, it was a happy time for the siblings and extended family in Melbourne to reunite with their brother and meet their uncle and great-uncle.
It had been 53 years since he had seen his older brother Yianni so it was great to catch up on a lot of old and new stories. He stayed for two months with his brother Aleko, whose house was a-buzz with friends and family coming and going. ‘Macho’ finally left our shores on the 24th January which was very sad. He hopes to return one day soon so we can all be together again. Till we meet again.
